After the election, I hit a writer's block, where I couldn't see myself making art, for fear of it being the wrong activity for the time. So much was going to change so quickly, I had no right to find time to write music. And when I could find time, the music tried too hard, too Clash-y. It wasn't the right sound at the time, I guess.

It's slight, but these four songs are me basically shrugging off that block and just moving forward. One's an instrumental, two are less than two minutes long, and the title track is a song I've been working on since I lived in Olympia. But, these songs were what I needed, I guess. A coping mechanism for the inauguration and beginning of misery, anxiety, and resistance. I hope you like at least parts of it, all~

Plus I'm working on my singing, people ;~)
